You beautifully described how I...I love this post.

You beautifully described how I felt during my last pregnancy with my now 19 month old daughter. Ready for what was to come, but knowing that I would never have this experience again.

Even now, when I find myself anticipating my daughter at an older age, I stop myself. I stop and savor the moment of what she is now. Today she is a precocious toddler with chubby cheeks and big brown eyes.

Today, I am her world. She searches for me in a room with family. She reaches for my hand for security when encountering strangers. She just learned how to give me butterfly kisses. Over and over and over again.

My son is 22 years old. I know all too well, that soon enough my daughter will be a teen and will absent-mindedly regard me as second to her friends, social life, school, etc. And all you can do is watch them test their own wings.

But for today, I am still her world.

Beautiful post.the mommyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04988156868416494739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2394064155173705488.post-28794906895436572552010-11-22T03:14:15.318-05:002010-11-22T03:14:15.318-05:00Ready and waiting with you for the huge, wonderful...Ready and waiting with you for the huge, wonderful change that is coming.
